These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Cheeky Wines website and services. By booking an event, purchasing tickets, or using this website, you agree to these Terms.
1. Definitions
Cheeky Wines: the trade name of the business providing wine education events, tastings, workshops, consultancy, and related services in the Netherlands.
Client: any individual or legal entity entering into an agreement with Cheeky Wines.
Services: any wine tasting, educational event, workshop, consultancy, ticketed experience, or related service provided by Cheeky Wines.
Agreement: any booking, purchase, reservation, or agreement between Cheeky Wines and the Client, whether made online, verbally, or in writing.
Site: the Cheeky Wines website hosted via Squarespace.
2. Applicability
2.1 These Terms apply to all offers, bookings, purchases, agreements, and services provided by Cheeky Wines.
2.2 Deviations from these Terms are only valid if confirmed in writing by Cheeky Wines.
2.3 Any terms or conditions of the Client are expressly excluded unless agreed otherwise in writing.
3. Bookings and Orders
3.1 All event listings, offers, and pricing are subject to availability and may be modified or withdrawn at any time.
3.2 A booking is only confirmed once payment has been successfully received.
3.3 Cheeky Wines reserves the right to refuse or cancel bookings at its discretion, including where fraud, misuse, or violation of these Terms is suspected.
3.4 Clients are responsible for providing accurate billing and contact information.
3.5 Tickets or bookings may not be resold for commercial purposes without prior written permission.
4. Prices and Payment
4.1 All prices are listed in euros (€) and include VAT (BTW) unless stated otherwise.
4.2 Payments are securely processed through third-party payment providers integrated with Squarespace.
4.3 Cheeky Wines reserves the right to change pricing at any time prior to booking confirmation.
4.4 If payment is declined or reversed, Cheeky Wines may cancel the booking.
4.5 Any refunds issued will be processed through the original payment method where possible.
5. Cancellation and Refund Policy
5.1 Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email.
5.2 Unless otherwise stated for a specific event, the following cancellation terms apply:
More than 14 days before the event: full refund minus any non-refundable processing fees
Between 7 and 14 days before the event: 50% refund
Less than 7 days before the event: non-refundable
5.3 If a guest fails to attend an event (“no-show”), no refund will be issued.
5.4 Cheeky Wines reserves the right to cancel or reschedule events due to insufficient attendance, venue issues, illness, force majeure, or circumstances beyond reasonable control. In such cases, Clients will be offered either:
a replacement date,
event credit, or
a full refund.
5.5 Cheeky Wines is not responsible for additional costs incurred by Clients, including travel or accommodation expenses.
6. Alcohol and Age Restrictions
6.1 Cheeky Wines events are strictly for adults aged 18 years or older.
6.2 By booking or attending an event, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old.
6.3 Cheeky Wines reserves the right to request valid identification and refuse service or entry to anyone unable to provide proof of age.
6.4 Responsible drinking is strongly encouraged. Guests participate in tastings at their own risk.
6.5 Cheeky Wines reserves the right to refuse alcohol service to intoxicated, disruptive, or inappropriate guests.
7. Client Responsibilities
7.1 Clients attending private or hosted events must ensure a safe and suitable environment for the event.
7.2 Clients must notify Cheeky Wines in advance of any relevant allergies, dietary restrictions, or accessibility requirements.
7.3 Clients and guests are expected to behave respectfully toward staff, venues, equipment, and other attendees.
7.4 Cheeky Wines reserves the right to remove participants from an event without refund in cases of inappropriate, abusive, unsafe, or unlawful behaviour.
8. Website Use
8.1 You may not use the Site for unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purposes.
8.2 You must not attempt to interfere with the security or functionality of the Site.
8.3 You may not reproduce, copy, scrape, distribute, or commercially exploit any part of the Site or its content without prior written permission.
8.4 We may suspend or restrict access to the Site if misuse is suspected.
9. Intellectual Property
9.1 All content on the Site and used during events — including branding, logos, educational materials, photography, presentations, graphics, and text — remains the intellectual property of Cheeky Wines unless otherwise stated.
9.2 Materials may not be reproduced, distributed, modified, or used commercially without prior written permission.
10. Privacy and Data Protection
10.1 Cheeky Wines processes personal data in accordance with applicable privacy laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR / AVG).
10.2 Personal data collected through bookings, contact forms, newsletter subscriptions, or purchases will only be used for legitimate business purposes.

11. Third-Party Services
11.1 Our website is hosted on Squarespace, which may process data on our behalf.
11.2 We may use third-party providers for:
payment processing,
email marketing,
analytics,
ticketing,
or event management.
11.3 Cheeky Wines is not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of third-party websites or services linked through the Site.
12. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
12.1 Cheeky Wines provides services and content on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
12.2 We do not guarantee uninterrupted website availability or error-free operation.
12.3 Participation in wine tastings and alcohol consumption is entirely at the attendee’s own risk.
12.4 To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cheeky Wines shall not be liable for:
indirect or consequential damages,
loss of profits,
loss of data,
personal injury arising from misuse of alcohol,
travel or accommodation costs,
or damages arising from third-party services.
12.5 Any direct liability of Cheeky Wines shall be limited to the amount paid by the Client for the relevant service or event.
12.6 Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where exclusion is not permitted under Dutch law.
13. Force Majeure
Cheeky Wines shall not be liable for delays, cancellations, or failures caused by events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to:
severe weather,
illness,
strikes,
venue closures,
transportation disruptions,
government restrictions,
pandemics,
or technical failures.
14. Complaints
14.1 Complaints should be submitted in writing within 14 days of the relevant event or service.
14.2 We aim to respond to complaints within 14 days.

15. Changes to These Terms
Cheeky Wines reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. The latest version will always be available on the Site.
Continued use of the Site or services after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
16. Governing Law
16.1 These Terms and any agreements with Cheeky Wines are governed by Dutch law.
16.2 Any disputes shall be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands.
